Yarrow, Achillea millefolium, has a special place in my heart. It is associated with protection, healing, and divination. Yarrow’s delicate yet resilient nature has made it a symbol of strength and adaptability in spiritual practices, and is associated with the element of water, symbolizing the flow of emotions and the cleansing of emotional blockages. Many practitioners of energy healing work with Yarrow to assist with clearing emotional wounds and restoring emotional equilibrium. Its vulnerary action has given it the nickname “wound healer.” Yarrow has many healing properties physically and spiritually and holds deep meaning in my practice and connection to herbalism.
